Ministry of housing and urban-rural development: new buildings are equipped with solar energy systems, and the life of photovoltaic modules should be longer than 25 years!

The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development said that the specifications issued this time are mandatory construction specifications, and all provisions must be strictly implemented. The relevant mandatory provisions of the current engineering construction standards shall be abolished at the same time. If the relevant provisions in the current engineering construction standards are inconsistent with this release specification, the provisions in this release specification shall prevail.

The Code requires that the design, construction, acceptance and operation management of building energy-saving and renewable energy building application systems for new, expanded and rebuilt buildings and existing building energy-saving renovation projects must be implemented.

Photovoltaic: The Code requires that new buildings should be equipped with solar energy systems. The design service life of solar collectors in solar thermal utilization system should be longer than 15 years. The designed service life of photovoltaic modules in solar photovoltaic power generation system should be longer than 25 years, and the attenuation rates of polysilicon, monocrystalline silicon and thin-film battery modules in the system should be less than 2.5%, 3% and 5% respectively within one year from the date of system operation, and then the annual attenuation should be less than 0.7%.

Energy-saving: The Code requires that the average design energy consumption level of new residential buildings and public buildings be further reduced by 30% and 20% based on the energy-saving design standards implemented in 2016, among which the average energy-saving rate of residential buildings in cold and cold areas should be 75%; The average energy saving rate in other climate zones should be 65%; The average energy saving rate of public buildings is 72%. Whether it is new construction, expansion and reconstruction of buildings or energy-saving reconstruction of existing buildings, energy-saving design of buildings should be carried out.
